Use a VPN to Watch the World Cup 2018 From Anywhere For FREE

If you have cable, you can watch every match on Fox Sport at home, online or via the Fox Go app. But if you're a cord cutter (like many of us), you can use a VPN to watch every World Cup game via live stream online.

A VPN allows you to surf the web and connect to websites privately by "faking" your location. In this situation, if the country where you live isn't showing a certain game, you can use a VPN to login to a region where it is being broadcast.

This TechRadar article tells you how to do it:

1. Download and install ExpressVPN
(TechRadar tested, TechDad approved) Express VPN offers a free 30-day trial, (perfect timing to get you through the World Cup!) is compatible with all of your devices, supports most streaming services, and ranks amongst the fastest. You can even install it on devices like an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Xbox and PlayStation.

2. Connect to the appropriate server location
Open the VPN app, hit 'choose location' and select the location that's broadcasting the game you want to watch. When in doubt, just head straight to the UK, they're televising every game.

3. Go to the broadcaster's live stream or TVPlayer.com
Choose the station that's airing your game or if you're not sure, just stick with TVPlayer.com in the UK. It will be showing all the games.
