Those Super Long "Terms of Service" You Never Read

It’s okay, most people don’t actually read them.

But that could potentially put you in a privacy pickle one day.

After this whole Facebook, Cambridge Analytica scandal, many companies are updating their terms of service so expect to see notices about their new privacy regulations coming soon. TOSDR (Terms Of Service; Didn't Read) is a user rights initiative to rate and label website terms & privacy policies, from very good Class A to very bad Class E. They get that you don’t want to waste time on a bunch of legal jargon, so they made a CliffsNotes version for you. They also have a browser extension (!!!) that shows ratings directly in your browser each time you're asked to “Read and Agree to the Terms.”
